Meet Robyn

Robyn works with Leaders (and their TEAMs), by supporting them to create positive change in their organisations.

Her book, BEINGW.I.S.E. LEADER, is a guide to developing our innate wisdom, self-awareness and empowerment in the leadership journey.

Robyn’s work within the Leadership sector began in 1992, for five years, as an Experiential Corporate Trainer, with the Phoenix Program, at what was then The Hyatt Regency Coolum. (Qld Australia)

The extensive ‘high and low ropes course’ was set amongst rainforest at the back of the Hyatt and catered for Australian and International companies.

Since then, she has spoken at Leadership Conferences and facilitated a diverse range of programs for clients across a wide array of industries.

Her work focuses on encouraging leaders to continually enhance and develop their skills; to ensure positive, ongoing change within their organisations and TEAMs.

“Anything run by Robyn Walker would be worthwhile. When a workshop leaves you wanting more – then you can only say it was a success. I really wish the workshop had been all day with Robyn.”

Kylie Langworthy , Health, Safety & Environment Lead, Transport Accident Commission

"We are all Leaders, and We are all Followers"

Robyn believes that, at the end of the day, ‘We are all Leaders, and We are all Followers’. It is simply a matter of degree and circumstance.

For example, parents are leaders in how they raise their children, older siblings are leaders for their younger siblings, and friends can be leaders in each other’s lives.

Leaders inspire others to achieve great outcomes, while Followers provide the support and motivation essential for overall success.

These roles are intertwined and of equal importance to ensure ‘a job well done’. And in both roles, listening is crucial…the “we have two ears and one mouth” concept.

Or as some Year 5 students fed back to Robyn, at an outdoor education camp in 2016 “Double Listening”! 😊

(She loved their awesome simplicity)
